<p><span><span><span>More than over 100 peaks rise over 3,000 meters into the sky in the Hohe Tauern. Many of them can only be climbed via difficult paths, but there are some routes that can also be climbed easily by "alpine beginners" - of course accompanied by a state-certified mountain guide. </span></span></span><span><span><span>Mallnitz consists of 4 valleys - the actual Mallnitz Valley, the Seebachtal Valley, which is the longest side valley with 14 km, as well as the Tauerntal and Dösental Valley. The village itself is located in the Mallnitz-High Valley, open to the south, a flat valley at 1,200 m above sea level, which is surrounded by eight three-thousand-metre peaks and over 20 other peaks just under 3,000 m.</span></span></span></p>
